Cam started in the Health and Wellness industry in 2000 studying Swedish Massage at the long-established Nature Care College in Sydney. With a desire to deepen his knowledge on the human body, he branched out into getting qualified as a Personal Trainer and worked with a large range of clients across several clubs in the Northern Beaches.
Returning to Melbourne in 2008, Cam has continued training privately in both mobile PT sessions and worked inside a number of gyms in Bayside and the CBD.
Cam brings a large base of knowledge and skillset acquired from some of the best rehab and strength and conditioning practitioners in the industry including Paul Chek, Mark Buckley and Dave O'Brien. Cam spent 5 years studying at the CHEK Institute becoming certified as a CHEK Exercise Coach and Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 3.
Cam continues to broaden his skillset through the FMA Institute under Mark Buckley's mentorship and is currently at Level 2 on his way to becoming an instructor. These qualifications aim to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and strength and conditioning. These courses have built onto his massage skills and have deepened the effectiveness of tissue treatments using a technique known as Gua Sha.
Combining these practices, Cam is passionate in showing clients aged over 40 how good they can feel in their bodies. He hopes to change the "over the hill" stereotype and demonstrate that people can build a strong, resilient and mobile body with the application of optimal movement practices, healthy food habits and regular tissue treatments. Cam values creating a calming and relaxing treatment for those seeking a stress-reducing experience. Or for a more targeted tissue treatment approach for anyone wanting to improve joint mobility, improve blood flow, reduce inflammation and muscle tension.
